Dear parents and carers,
We hope you have enjoyed your week. This week Toddler room children have enjoyed learning about People who help us ie: firemen, paramedics. They were developing their imagination and communication and language skills dressing up as fireman, doctors, they enjoyed playing with and alongside each other with the small world fire station with police cars, ambulance and fire engines , learning new sounds and words. The children were developing their fine motor and mathematical skills by using tweezers to sort coloured pasta into the bowls, naming colour’s and counting. We also did a cooking activity where the children helped their teacher to weigh and mix ingredients to make cookies. They did mark making activities learning letters and played in the water catching fish and ducks counting how many they could catch. This weeks Am Star ⭐️ of the week is Mahjabeen for gaining confidence and using more single words in play. Our Pm Star ⭐️ of the week is Ishaaq for becoming more confident in settling in. Well done 👏. We hope you have a lovely weekend and we will see you all next week. Dawn and Toddler room staff.
