The Nursery is a family run business and was set up by Irene Beaumont and Jenny Gannon in 2014.  Our staff team are our biggest asset and they are NNEB/NVQ qualified or above and all are engaged in continual training and professional development. Staff are carefully selected and each individual is chosen for the qualities and experience they can bring into the nursery environment. We employ a large staff team to ensure the quality and continuity of care for all children and we do not employ agency staff.

Laura is the Nursery manager and has been at Winterton House Nursery since 2025 . She has been working with children for many years and has qualified teacher status. Laura works closely with Irene and Jenny in ensuring the highest standards of provision and practice throughout the Nursery. She is also the nursery inclusion coordinator and designated safeguarding lead. 

Our staff team recognise the importance of working together with parents and carers to provide the very best for every individual child in our setting.  As a team we believe collaborative working with parents creates the best environment for children and we really value the thoughts, information and support that they provide.
