Dear parents/ carers,
I hope you have all had a good week. This week the children have enjoyed making some pumpkins out of paper mache for Halloween then painted it. They have also been painting some spooky pictures. The children really enjoyed a sensory activity exploring different texture’s and talking about how it feels expanding their communication and language. This week’s star of the week goes to Ubayd for following nursery boundaries and Ayaan for being kind to other’s. Well done 👏 to you both. We hope you have a great half term holiday and we look forward to seeing you on when we return on the 30th October. From Dawn and all of the Toddler room staff. Please can we remind parents not to park illegally on Deancross St. Over the years we have had some dangerous near misses and we are receiving complaints again not only from parents but local residents. There has been parking on the pavement and road and pedestrians have been unable to pass safely. This is a huge risk to children/parents arriving at nursery and we ask that parents who are unable to walk to nursery should find somewhere to park legally and walk the remaining distance to nursery. Please kindly note that the car park on the other side of the block belongs to the residents of Winterton House and is private and we have had parents receive tickets for parking there. Thank you

Dear parents and carers
We hope you have had a good week. Pre-school this week have been exploring different occupations and role playing with their peers helping to develop their play skills, imagination in play and speaking. Some children said they wanted to be a doctor or a hairdresser when they grow up. This week our stars of the week are Anas (am) for coming into nursery happily and playing and Yasmin (pm) for participating at circle time. Well done to you both, keep up the good work. They made flowers, bumble bees, ladybugs for their spring display. They used stamps, did gluing and sticking promoting their hand and eye coordination and fine motor skills. If this does happen can you please replace it . Many thanks. Enjoy the rest of the week and have a lovely weekend. From Dawn and Toddler room staff. Dear Parents and Carers,
It's been a busy and exciting week in pre-school and the children have been very creative. Following our trip to the farm, the children have been busy creating a farm display and have created some animals as you will see from the picture. They have all enjoyed music and dancing with Lyn (our dance teacher) who comes on Tuesday morning and Friday afternoon so all our children benefit. Next week is the last week before half term. The nursery will be closed from 23rd-27th October and we return on Monday 30th October. Kind Regards Isabelle and the Pre-School team Dear parents and Carer’s,
I hope you have had a good week. Your children have had a fun week exploring colour’s and really enjoyed the sensory experience of putting their hands in paint to make hand print’s for our display. The children have also been creating their very own leaf printing Autumn window display and have started on their winter display using natural materials, ie: real leaves, twigs, cotton wool. The children also made their very own pancakes, mixing and scooping their own ingredients. This week’s Star of the week goes to Musa and Abdurrahman. Well done, Have a good weekend . See you all next week. Dawn and Toddler room staff. Dear parents and carers
We hope you have all had a fantastic week, We have been really busy this week with the children helping to create our different displays by e.g. painting their self portraits, and making tiger faces for our “Guess who came to tea?” display. They are coming along lovely and very proud of all the hard work both children and staff have put into making these. This week our star of the weeks is Sabira for being friendly and kind towards others and Nusaiba in the afternoon for becoming more confident in engaging with others. Well to you both and keep up the good work. Can I ask parents and carers that the use of mobile phones when inside the nursery are not permitted at anytime and have a no mobile phone policy in place. Also, can I remind parents and carers that all children have to be into nursery by 9:15am for the morning session and 1:15pm for the afternoon session, as when children arrive late is disrupts the session etc. Hope you all have a lovely weekend Jenny and preschool girls |
