Dear parents/carers
We hope everyone who was celebrating Eid on Wednesday had a lovely day with friends and family. This week pre-school have been using different materials such as rice and pasta to put into different shapes to create that shape. They also used stars to create their Eid picture from our display. Pre-schools morning star of the week is Sulaiman for beginning to use the toilet and Shayan for being nice to his peers Pre-schools afternoon star of the is Sabreen for helping to tidy up and Ayra Rahman for settling nicely into pre-school. Toddlers this week been building with a range of different materials creating a range towers, walk paths and connecting them by colours. They have enjoyed making bracelets with coloured pasta and string helping to develop their hand and co-ordination and fine motor skills. The weeks toddlers morning star of the week is Radijah for settling into nursery and toddlers afternoon star of the week is Mustafa for doing well in toilet training. Well done to all our star of the weeks this week. Keep up with he job work. Just a remind that pre-school’s parents meeting are next Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday if you haven’t signed up there’s still plenty of spaces and the list is outside near the office. Toddlers parent meetings will be going up next week to sign up and toddlers parents meeting with be the Week after next. Next Wednesday 5th Of July and Friday 7th Of July some schools are closed due to teachers striking but we are open as usual. We hope you all have a lovely weekend Jenny, pre-school and toddler teams

Dear parents/carers
Pre-school have been doing a lot of writing his week making their own marks by drawing pictures, writing their name and painting, all to help develop their fine motor skills. I was really impressed with the effort they made with writing their names. They have been engaged in playing with the play dough this week making face, using the the shape cutters to make butterflies, stars etc This week our morning star of the week is Rifat for following simples instructions and our afternoon star of the week are Nahiyan for exploring different areas of the room and Abida for being caring towards her peers and adults. On Wednesday 28th June 23 we will be closed for Eid and will re-open on Thursday 29th June 23 as usual. We hope everyone celebrating has a lovely day. Hope you all have a lovely weekend Jenny and pre-school team Dear parents/carers Toddlers have been exploring the texture between wet and dry pasta using scissors to practice their cutting skills and techniques. They have also enjoyed the play dough using a range of different shapes, tools and rolling pins to make their own structures and creations. This week our morning star of the week is Isabella for settling into nursery and our afternoon star of the week is Abdur Raham for settling into nursery. Well done to you both keep up the good work. Hope you all have a lovely weekend Jenny and toddler team Dear parents and carers, We hope you have all been enjoying this beautiful weather we are currently having. I know the children have by being outside enjoying the garden. Using their gross motor skills to ride the cars and bikes, playing chasing games and splashing in the water. Pre-school have been making their Father’s Day card by painting their hands as an imprint and putting glitter on top of it. They look amazing. They also enjoyed mixing the colours onto the pasta shells and watching them dry and beginning to understand the process from wet it dry. This week our star of the weeks are Sarah for following instructions and being helpful are caring towards others. Also, Inaaya for playing well with others and helping during tidy up times. We hope you have all been enjoying this beautiful weather we are currently having. I know the children have by being outside enjoying the garden. Using their gross motor skills to ride the cars and bikes, playing chasing games and splashing in the water. Toddlers have made their Father’s Day cards this morning. Our morning session made watermelon imprints using their hands and our afternoon session made dinosaur imprints also using their hands. Toddlers have been exploring different fairytales with activities that tell part of the story, for them to create their own stories, acting out scenes with others and also be familiar to stories they may already know. They have made their own pretend ice cream by mixing paint with shaving foam and scooping into a bowl. This week our am star of the week is Nawfal for playing nicely with others and doing good listening. Our pm star of the week is Xylah for settling into nursery. Well done! Keep up the good work. We hope you all had a lovely holiday. Toddlers this week have been doing a variety of different activities to help develop their play skills and fine motor skills. They have enjoyed using rollers and paint brushes to make their own marks and comment on what they have painted and role playing with peers by pretending to be a hairdresser or building towers and arrangements with different constructional materials. This week our am star of the week is Yusuf for helping adults to settle in new children. Our afternoon star of the week is Zaya for playing nicely with others and doing good listening. Well done to you both keep up the good work. As the weather for the next week is forecast to be very warm, we are asking all parents to bring in a sun hat for their child and to apply suncream before coming to nursery. Its due to hit 26 degrees next week so please ensure the children are in cool comfortable clothing and not their winter woollies. The nursery is able to top up children with suncream and staff will be asking consent to apply suncream if needed. They also been lots of activities around recognising and identifying letters using a range of different resources and activities, such as shape moulds in the sand, letter blocks and the alphabet abacus. This week our stars of the week in the morning session is Nayem for playing and interacting with others. Also, Witaan for playing well with others and interacting more with others. Our afternoon session stars of the week is Jawat for being happier at nursery and playing more. Also, Ayaan Ali for playing well with others. Well done to you all. Keep up the good work.
