Dear parents and carers,
I hope you have enjoyed the beautiful weather this week. On warm and sunny day’s could I kindly request that children come in with a sun hat and apply sunscreen. Thankyou. The children have enjoyed a range of fun activities. We had a cutting spaghetti activity to help develop their fine motor skills which we coloured green to encourage the children to learn their colours. We had a safari activity which had a range of things for them to explore ie. Sand, hay, animals to identify and name, We had a beautiful bumble bee activity where the children can explore ice cubes encouraging them to talk about hot and cold. Explore the textures of leaves and learn about different habitats. We talked about what bees make ie . Honey 🍯 and how they make it, ie. By collecting pollen from the flowers. They enjoyed dressing up and reading books about superheroes developing their imagination and encouraging them to play together. The children enjoyed another ice activity with a range of objects ie . Spider to talk about what they see and feel. This weeks Am star ⭐️ of the week is Maryam I for supporting her brother to settle into nursery. Our Pm star ⭐️ of the week is Minhaz for settling in well into nursery. Well done 👏. Just a quick reminder that we would be very grateful if all parents could complete the short online form to let us know which school their child will be attending from September 2024 or if they will be staying at Winterton House. For those of you that have applied for mainstream reception or nursery you should have all had your allocation emails by now and you need to respond to these as detailed on the e-admissions website. It’s helpful for us to have this information so we can arrange transition meetings where relevant and ascertain how many children will be staying with us in September. Please let us know if your childs new school uses tapestry as we will be able to electronically transfer their learning journal to their new school to continue on. You can complete the form by clicking the link below or by scanning the code in the picture with your mobile phone. https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=DQSIkWdsW0yxEjajBLZtrQAAAAAAAAAAAAN__s02Wl5UNjVPRlMyT1hRMVNWVDFVWEFLS1paVDVXNy4u orm to let us know which school their child will be attending from September 2024 or if they will be staying at Winterton House.
