Dear Parents And Carers, We hope everyone has had an enjoyable week. This week the children have enjoyed developing their imagination playing with the small world house and little people, giving them the opportunity to talk about their own families. They made their own Mr. Potato heads naming different body parts such as eyes, nose, ears. They were using one handed tools ie. Scissors to cut, developing their fine motor skills . They really enjoy washing the babies using sponges encouraging their self care development, with one child trying to climb into the water tray. Lol. Exploring the different textures on the tuff tray was exciting, they had the opportunity to explore and talk about what they see and feel. The children enjoyed exploring the musical instruments, we were singing ‘I am the music man’, learning about music and rhymes and taking turns. Making marks with shaving foam was exciting as the children enjoyed using the cars to make marks and getting messy. Some of the children had a shopping trip to Iceland to get some ingredients to do some baking and were extremely well behaved .Well done 👏. This week’s Am Star ⭐️ of the week is Danyal for bing polite, kind and gentle to other’s. Our Pm Star ⭐️ of the week is Izhaan for settling in well into nursery.
