Dear Parents and Carers, We hope you have all had a good week. This week the children have enjoyed some sensory activities, where they can experience touching ,feeling and talking about what they see and feel developing knowledge and understanding and communication and language. They enjoyed learning different colours and using one handed tools ,scooping coloured rice into coloured bowls. Mixing colours in our ice cream parlour, developing hand eye co ordination and fine motor skills. The children enjoyed looking at simple picture books encouraging them to use simple words in play. Our children enjoyed a cooking activity where they helped to measure and mix ingredients to make some amazing spring flower biscuits. We had a colour sorting activity with cotton reels and tweezers to encourage the development hand eye co ordination and fine motor skills. They enjoyed a mark making activity using stamps for mark making and creative / messy play. This weeks Am star ⭐️ of the week is Yoky for playing nicely with others. Our Pm star ⭐️ of the week is Shakawat for being more verbal in play. Well done 👏. We hope you enjoy your weekend and will see you all next week. Dawn and Toddler room staff.
