Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you have had a lovely week. The children have had a great week. They have enjoyed exploring a range of activities. We had a fun sensory activity where the children enjoyed exploring the texture of the shaving foam as well as learning colour’s and what happens when we mix the colour’s together, giving them the opportunity to talk about what they see and feel ,developing language and understanding. They had a range of different coloured paint to be creative with. They enjoyed naming the different colour’s . We had a tuff tray where the children learnt about weather change, gaining knowledge and understanding of the world. They loved being creative with the junk modelling giving them the opportunity to explore and use one handed tools, ie. Spatula, paint brush. We had a fun cutting fruit activity. The children enjoyed cutting apples and bananas independently helping to develop their hand - eye co-ordination and motor skills. We hid insects in the sand for the children to find and name, playing hide and seek. Encouraging them to use single words in play. This weeks Am Star ⭐️ of the week is Sajed for settling in well into nursery. Our Pm Star ⭐️ of the week is Arya for helping to tidy up and being polite. Well done 👏. Have a lovely weekend, see you all Monday. Dawn and Toddler room staff.
