Dear parents and carers
We hope you have all had a lovely week. The children in preschool have be curious and fascinated with the development of the caterpillars asking everyday if they have become butterflies yet and saying how big they have grown. It will still take a few weeks for the week to become butterflies but we can’t wait to meet them. This week we have been making cards for father’s day on Sunday. The children used cotton buds and a mixture of different shades of purple and pink to create the bunch of grapes and they all looked fantastic. We have also been focusing on the children’s writing skills, helping to develop their fine motor skills and having control of E.g. a pen, pencils or felt tip. It was looking seeing the children make their own marks and express what they had drawn. This week our am star of the week is Yusra C for beginning to write her name and our pm star of the week is Zaya for beginning to become aware of toileting routines. Well done to you both, keep up the good work. This weekend we have two celebrations both on Sunday 16th of June 2024, father’s day and Eid. Who hope whoever is celebrating either one or both you have a fantastic day. Just a little reminder that on Monday 17th of June the nursery will closed and will be re-open on Tuesday 18th of June. Hope you all have a lovely weekend Jenny and preschool girls
